Mary Henning is a fixture in the Kearney community, as an active member of these boards of directors: MONA, Crane River Theater, Storytelling Festival, and member of PEO Chapter IX, Kearney Woman’s Club, Chamber Envoys, and as president of the national “Cool Grandmas of America.” (Is that a real thing Mary? If it is, you would indeed be the president.) She spoils her six grandchildren – Makenna, Ceci, Bailey, Logan, Ethan and Kyler, whose parents are Chad and Melissa Henning and Michelle and Andy Harter. She says she dances just for fun.
